Luck of the Irish? Yup – we’ve got that!

Please help us welcome Garrett Morrell, the latest addition to the SoftLanding family.

After gaining several years' experience in application testing best practices, Garrett came to SoftLanding a few months ago as our Sales Executive for the Midwest Region, based out of Chicago.

He reports that he is already enjoying his new position. “I get to meet new people and work with new organizations every day. Each comes with its own set of challenges. Designing unique solutions and implementation plans for each of our unique clients is very rewarding.”

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Garrett earned a degree in Computer Science before moving to the U.S. in 1997. That’s when he fell in love with Chicago. He says, “I had plans to stay for a couple of years... but I fell in love with the city.” It turns out that Chicago was not the only love he found. Garrett also met his wife Gaile – a cardiologist – in Chicago. They continue to live there with their two children, Michaela (two years) and Conor (three months).
