Meet Sales
By Deb Holmes, Director of Technical Services
They come from near and far to join us…. Help us welcome John Cooper to the Sales team. John lives in California, and joins the team of Laurie LeBlanc (Territory Manager) and Pat Condon to cover sales in the West.
John joined the SoftLanding family on February 27th, 2006. He said he likes the fact that SoftLanding is a small company that has had success over the past 16 years. The employees all know one another, rather than being anonymous commodities at a large company.
“Everyone is extremely nice, fun, helpful, and it’s an easy-going, family-oriented company.” John comes to us with a degree in International Business. He attended California State in Sacramento before getting an opportunity to go abroad. He ended up in Leysin, Switzerland, where he graduated from the American College of Switzerland. Prior to joining SoftLanding, he worked selling the new J2EE Application Server and WebLogic. He also sold development tools for IBM's WebSphere product line.
John has a beautiful nine-month-old daughter who takes up most of his spare time. He enjoys most sports. While his daughter sleeps, he’ll watch a San Francisco Giants baseball or 49ers football game. I guess we New Englanders will have to introduce him to some real baseball and football….
