Meet Jason Anderson, Technical Support
Jason Anderson started working for SoftLanding on January 31, 2005. According to Jason, he was sitting in his iSeries class at Keene State College, minding his own business, when he became disturbed by the fact that he had to switch from RSE (WDSC) to 5250 every time he wanted to view his spool files. His instructor mentioned SoftLanding Systems’ spool file plug-in and how seamlessly it worked with WDSC. Being his natural inquisitive self, Jason decided he had to find out more about this SoftLanding product and company. When he discovered that SoftLanding was located right here in Peterborough, NH, he knew he had to get in! Jason said he really enjoys working at SoftLanding because he gets to play with all the new “toys” before they go GA. “The people here are really down to earth and great to work with,” he said. (Aw shucks — thanks!) Jason was a part-time student at Keene State College. After one semester, he decided to go for his degree in Computer Science. When the Computer Science department switched from C/C++ to Java, he was asked to do an independent study on Java. He then helped develop the course curriculum for Java Programming 2, which is now taught at the college. While working here at SoftLanding, he continues to pursue his degree. Jason enjoys downhill bicycle racing, downhill skiing, hunting, fishing, and watching the Fox News Channel. Well, here is something that is not news: we are all very happy that Jason has joined our tech team! |
