Deploy/400 is also ideal for environments where it is impractical to maintain a change management system on client computers. Deploy/400's small footprint means it can remain on the client system with minimal overhead.
Deploy/400 builds and distributes packages that contain System i objects, libraries, IFS objects and directories, i5/OS PTFs - even other packages you've created - greatly reducing the job of tracking deployment activity. You can specify prerequisites and special conditions to minimize the chance of errors on client systems for true "load and run" simplicity on even complex installations. With its rich suite of command APIs and its open architecture, Deploy/400 can easily handle special processing for data files and i5/OS PTFs.
Deploy/400 works as a stand-alone distribution product or it can integrate with TURNOVER® for iSeries v100. When used with TURNOVER® for iSeries v100, it lets you wrap up hundreds of TURNOVER® for iSeries v100 Forms into a single package to distribute. If the TURNOVER® Remote is running, it will install all changes.
